Turning our Hearts to our Families
Within this webpage you will find stories of my ancestors and their lives. It has been a labor of love to learn about them and I want to share the knowledge I've gained of them with my family and others who are interested in tracing their roots also. For over 45 years now I have traced my ancestry in the subdued light of libraries filled with books and microfilm machines back when there were no xerox machines. To make a copy meant every thing had to be written down or typed on a separate paper and carbon paper used to make more copies. There were no computers or Internet then, so it's a different world we live in today but a marvelous one as you can have so much genealogical information at your fingertips in your own home, sources to search on your own computer and new friends-distant Internet cousins to find online who are working on the same family lines as you are. Welcome to the new millenium 2000 and many more years of accelerated research as we trace our roots with the goal of becoming an eternal family one day. For that is why I do this family history research, collect old photos and write their stories to "...turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers.." (Malachi 4:6) So they are not forgotten by us. One day I know that we will meet them and hear their stories from their own lips.
