Hi, my name is Betty Jo, and I am known as the "Gifted One". I am also know as now by the nick name of "Yellowrose". I was born on December 12, 1965. I was a very pretty child and mommy was always near us, including my brother Mark Allen and sister Orena Marie. We had a pretty normal childhood while living in Kansas City, MO.
My mommy and daddy married on June 4, 1965 and divorced in December 1972. My Dad, Mark Harvey Henshaw, was addicted to alcohol.
My mom met another man named J.C. Morrow and we moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He owned and operated Safeway Cab Co. He was a very well to do man and we got everything we wanted but he also had a problem with alcohol. He was a diabetic who relied on kidney dialysis to keep him going, but eventually the diabetes took him to an early grave. With his death, Mom was forced to sell the business just to make ends meet.
Mom then met Richard William Erickson, who helped her a lot. They married in 1989 and we had a lot of fun then.
I am a mentally challenged, trainable young woman who has a loving hubby and a beautiful little girl, Mari Jo Adams, born on September 30, 1995.
I love to cook and go places with my mom and dad.
One of my biggest reasons for wanting this page in my Mom's site is in November, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I am taking medication for this but there are no guarantees. I know my family will remember me, but I really wanted to be a contributing part of this family for all to remember my words. I have been baptised and believe in the faith of our Lord, and Love my God.
I am part Indian (Apache). My grandfather was my best friend until de died of spinal cancer. His name was Keith Lawerence Williams, "Little Bear" the medicine chief, and "Apache Kid" the warrior. He worked hard and long, raising 3 children, Dollie Mae, Keith Thomas and my mom, Jolita Ann Williams/ Henshaw/ Erickson/ Williams.
My mom raised 31 foster children in her life and has a chat room on here called "Goofy's Family Chat". Mom also has been battling diabetes and has heart problems and spurs on both feet. She tries to keep busy and she has taught me many things and has the patience of Job.
I
especially like the Taz and amy very fond of country music.
Now a little about my hubby...
Hi, my name is Terry and I am a 34 year old husband and father. I have very few pictures of myself growing up as my parents did not have a camera so not many shots of me until afer I married the girl of my dreams, Betto Jo.
We both went to a TMR school, Anderson School and were enrolled in Fairfax adult education. We graduated at the same time. Mari Jo is our daughter and I love her with all my heart and soul.
I have seizures and temper fits when I do not get my way.
