We would love to add pictures of this family! However, we ask that the pictures are old, say ones taken before 1920.

The reasoning for this is that pictures must be turned into either .jpg, .bmp or .gif files before they are put on the website.

These types of files take up a lot of disk space and we have, as of 11/5/97, about 5meg of space left. Don't panic though, I can get more space, but hadn't planned on it until next year, if possible.

Another solution would be if you have a picture you would like to see on the website but there are a lot of people in it or possibly a lot of scenery around the Bush family member, I can, once the picture is scanned, import it into a program I have and edit the picture and make it smaller or cut out some of the background to only show the person. This helps cut down on using more disk space than is necessary.

Does scanning an old picture or any picture for that matter, damage it?? Absolutely not! Your treasured photo would not be harmed in anyway and would be returned to you within several days. Or, if you have the ability to get the picture scanned on your end (most camera stores will do this), just send me the floppy disk with the image on it.

This is a wonderful way to preserve pictures forever, or at least as long as the World Wide Web exists! Imagine, everyone in the world could view a picture of your gg/grandparent!!

If you would like to submit either a picture or a floppy disk, just send it to us at:
