THE MAP OF THE BUSH SETTLEMENT

This map shows how the Baptist colony of pioneer days settled around the Old Stone Meeting House/Providence Church as a nucleus. The church was constructed between the years 1787-1793 and located on Lower Howard's Creek in Clark Co., KY. The map also shows, in large print, the owners of the farms before 1800. The owners shown in ( ) are later owners of some of the farms. Map was made from surveys and County Court records of Clark County KY by S.J. Conkwright & S. H. Rutledge
