Welcome to our webpage which was created and designed by our wonderful friend T^Warrior.
We started #40Playland because we wanted a channel where people could relax, have fun, make new
friends and not have to deal with channel politic's or bickering.
Our channel has grown and many are family to us, not just a name on a screen. Some couples have
gotten together from meeting in our channel, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. but they usually
end up friends. Friendship is very important to us.
We have people from all over visit our channel. Canada, The Neitherlands, England, the Uk,
Austrailia and from the USA. We find they are mostly from the midwest to the eastcoast, from Maine to Florida, out to Texas and Illinois.
Many of us got together in Atlanta, Georgia in November of 1997. Because so many of our family is there. We went to the last
Nascar race of the season. (Many Sunday's some of us are in channel while the race is on cheering on our
favorite drivers). We froze our buns off at the race but it was wonderful meeting so many of our channel family. We just wish we could
have spent more time with everyone. Some came from England and Austrailia that weekend.
We hope to have a get together each year in a different location( hopefully during warmer weather)LOL! So come in and visit us
and become one of the channel family. We will keep you updated of any new happenings. Please sign our guestbook, we hope to be hearing from you.

This picture was taken in Atlanta on November 16th, 1997. The gang was gathered for the
Napa 500 nascar race, the last nascar race of the season. There was one very happy lady (Mair) when Jeff Gordon
won the Winston Cup. Pictured in the back row from the left.. Frostie...Comtech.. and Budro. Front row from the
Left... Gator.. Rovingeye.. Realjy.. Mair.. Ayla..and Val^. Kneeling from the left Dinny.. Riter..and Drifter.
The picture was taken by Ladygator. Fun was had by all. Unfortunately not everyone was able to make the trip. Maybe next time? Our apologies to
Jawjajim who was also in this picture but has accidently left out when the picture was cut to size, sorry Jim.
