Hello! This is my Clueless page, based on the movie and spin-off series. Mainly, though, the movie starring Alicia Silverstone. Clueless is one of my favourite movies!

Cher Harrowitz(Alicia Silverstone) is the most popular girl at Beverly Hills High, where rich kids hang out, talk to each other on cellular phones and occasionally attend classes. At 15, Cher has it all -- a white Jeep (which she drives, poorly, on a learner's permit), an extensive wardrobe with a computer to help select the perfect outfit, and an uncanny ability to charm, cajole and whine until others do her bidding.

When Cher can't argue her way out of a C in debate class, she and her best friend Dionne (Stacey Dash) launch a campaign to make the debate teacher fall in love with the school's guidance counselor. Cher then trains her powers of life alteration on a ``clueless'' (i.e., unhip) new student, Tai (Brittany Murphy). When Tai becomes a midriff-baring, mall-prowling Cher clone, Cher -- goaded by her college-age ex-stepbrother Josh (Paul Rudd) -- begins to plumb the depths of her own shallowness.

Cher realises that she actually likes her uncool, studious step-bro and realises that she's 'clueless' about her own love life! anyway, all ends happily when Josh and Cher get together and her two teachers get married!

Clueless was based on Jane Austen's novel, Emma. If you have seen the recent movie of Emma, starring Gwyneth Paltrow, and Clueless you can pick out heaps of similarities. Also, many sayings and lingo from 'Clueless' have been picked up by teenagers and the new generation, such as 'as if!' and 'whatever!'. Clueless is a fantastic movie and has made a huge impression on people.
