Sindhura Gadde is Femina Miss India-World 2005, crowned in March at the end of a glittering event in Mumbai. As the Indian representative to Miss World 2005, held December 10th in the tropical resort of Sanya, off of Southern China, she finished among the Top Fifteen semi-finalists, continuing India's shine at the said pageant. She was born and raised for a few years in Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh, until she moved to New Zealand. There, she pursued studies in Pharmacology, but also pursued interests in modelling, taking part in both Australia & New Zealand Fashion Week, and tv presenting, working with TVNZ as an anchor. She was First Runner-Up in the 2002 Miss IndiaNZ pageant, but went on to the Femina Miss India 2005 Selection Process and Training Program, emerging as one of the three winners.

She has spent her year modelling, participating in charity auctions and promoting the Femina brand image. She has spent her time between India, New Zealand the US, as well as a brief modelling assignment in Japan for Satya Paul and local designer Kazuo Ogawa.
