Femina Miss India Universe 2005 is Amrita Thapar, a 23 year-old from Pune who stands 5'8" tall. She models and is pursuing Post-Grad studies in Fashion Design. She represented India at the 2005 Miss Universe Pageant in Bangkok, Thailand, held on May 31st. However, she did not place as one of the 15 finalists.
