I believe that God and faith is the only thing that has taken me this far and the only one that can get me any further. My passion lies in fashion design, that is the only career I have ever imagined doing . Since I was only 7 I can remember cutting up my clothing to then make clothing for my Barbies. Needless to say I never realy played with them, I would simply style them and display them as if they were on the runway. Even then I knew exactly what I wanted to pursue in life.
When in New York I spoke with Stan Herman (president of CFDA) and he said he can see it in me that I will be successful. I have to say I admire most of all Jean-Paul Gaultier in every aspect he is to me the ultimit designer, he designs without predujice and without concern with how the critics will turn there heads. He simply designs from his heart and character.
My inspiration from designers as in, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Theirry Mugler, Xuly Bet, Dolce & Gabbana, Ozbeck, Paco Rabanne, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano,Helmet Lang, Gianni Versace, Todd Oldham, Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui and many more are the basis for how I design. For me my life time dream and goal will be to become a succesful designer, I have no doubt that I will achive this dream because with a strong belief and drive you can achive anything. For me rejection concerning any subject does not bother me nor make me question my ability. What is important is that I keep my faith and that I pursued my goal and achived my love and passion for designing. I know that I will succeed in my goals and achive all I can for my life with the Lord Jesus Christ anything is possible.
