Here we are - the official Ovaltech site! Since the dark days (or golden age) of Community Charge  we have supplied programs to assist Revenues staff with some tough aspects of Local Government Finance and Taxation. This help is delivered in a way that is effective, educational and enjoyable.

  Our flagship program is the Quick Benefits Calculator, plus our new "WebBenCalc" that runs on your Web Site, giving customers 24 * 7 online access to Benefits estimates and giving you an instant "e-government" project.   We've just released version 1.0 of the Ovaltech "House of Benefits" guide to Housing Benefits. It is a distinctly unique product which really pushes the Ovaltech ethos envelope! Informative, accurate and above all, with the emphasis on fun (sometimes it's even funny!) it presents essential benefits material in a somewhat more appealing format than all the serious publications. Think of the guide as a reference book that staff can enjoy. Go straight to the Hob sample to look at some "House of Benefits" demonstration pages.

Armed with all these Ovaltech "tools", staff can solve Benefits, NDR and Council Tax problems by performing "what if" calculations, legislation "look-ups" and consultation sessions.
