A little about myself.. I was born on the 24th of Jan, in the one of the metropolitan cities of India, Madras. If you haven't already heard of India, you are definitely missing out!!

Having spent most of my life in various parts of southern India and Singapore, it has been quite a change for me to live in the USA. I currently live in the Triad (High Point, North Carolina).

I spent most of my formative years in the Madras. Fluent in the local language, Tamil, I also speak English, Hindi and Kannada, my native tongue. Though no linguist, I can understand a smattering of Punjabi, Telugu and Malayalam. Of course, I'm often wrong in my translations, but I guess that's the fun part of learning a new language!

Music has always been a passion for me and I usually have something playing all the time. My favorite Indian songs are from the Hindi movie Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin and Tamil movie Jeans. My favorite Indian singers are Mukesh, A.M.Raja, Hariharan, Anuradha Shriram, S. P. Balasubramanyam. As for western groups and artists, my favorites are Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Toni Braxton, Madonna.
