Nowadays it seems that many new grooming shops are popping up all over. But, no matter how you spell For Paws we are still the original. Since 1972 we have been providing quality pet grooming in the far North Dallas area. "Word of mouth" from satisfied customers is our greatest source of advertising. In addition, our groomers are among the most experienced and tenured professionals in the business today.

Ronny Junkins, a breeder and exhibitor of Lhasa Apsos (see Jaron's Lhasas) has been the owner of FOR PAWS since 1995. In addition to Ronny's experience raising and grooming show dogs, he also has an extensive background in retail management. Rest assured you will get the service and attention you deserve.

We want to be the only groomer for your pet!!! To our regular customers we offer frequent grooming discounts for dogs that come on a weekly, as well as, an every other week basis. We also offer discounts for seniors (referring to the human customer :-) and discounts for customers that have three or more animals groomed at a time. What's more, we also offer discounts to our McKinney and Frisco customers that have moved out of the area and now must drive over fifteen miles to reach us.

Our grooming prices include: trimming nails, cleaning ears, controlling fleas and checking glands. There may be additional charges for dipping, dematting or stripping especially difficult animals or for handling animals with special needs. There is still no additional charge for medicated shampoo or for flea shampoo, if needed. Additionally, we offer teeth-brushing and topical flea treatment applications.

Going away for the weekend? If you are one of our regular customers with a small to medium size pet (under 30 pounds), why not let us take care of him? We offer a safe and comfortable, air conditioned environment for our guests. Our guests receive 100% professional attention at very competative prices. If your pet requires medication or a special diet, just bring it along. If your pet will be with us at least two nights, you will surely want to take advantage of our 10% grooming discount and have your pet looking great when you pick him up.
