Welcome to ITjuve

ITjuve, Information and Youth Professional Association, was created in the region of Asturias (Spain) in 1996, as an iniciative of a group of workers in Youth Information Services and Youth related programs. Most of them work in services belonging to local and regional administrations.

ITjuve tries to fulfil the professional interest of its associates, and also:

• to collaborate in the analysis, developement and optimization of the information systems aimed to youths and the rest of the population;
• to work in the improvement of the programas aimed to young people and to the rest of the community in the fields of personal services and socioculture.

Itjuve expresses its will to collaborate with policy makers at the public administrations in the melioration of these activities, in the advance of the skills of professional and volunteer mediators, and in the quality control of the services to the public.

ITjuve desires to collaborate with associations in Asturias (youth, cultural, students, leisure associations).

Special attention will be paid to proposals coming from professionals and professional associations in our environment: Spain, Europe and Latin America.
