WORK HISTORY
9/99 to Current I have either been sitting with my daughter in law in the hospital while she was confined to her bed or babysitting my grandchildren while their parent’s work. It is just time for me to get a job and help out on the bills at home.
12/98 to 8/99 I was a mother again. We had my husband’s children while their mother resettled and my job search had to let go in order to be with the children.
12/97 to 11/98 UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI COLUMBIA, MO
FULL TIME REGISTAR for IAT Services TRAINING GROUP

I was hired as a temp full-time registrar for the IAT Services Training Group by Keith Vessell. This was a 6 month position. After the frist 6 months I was rehired by Darren Gabbert for the next 6 months as a Perm full time registrar for the Training group. I anwsered the phone for the group and registered people for the short courses given by IATS Training Group. I input the data for the stats, ran quries in Access, and kept up the web-page for the group. I redid the web calendar on a monthly bases to reflect the classes that are being offered to the Staff, Faculty, and Students of University of Missouri.

2/96 to Current MY LADY'S KURIOS
OWNER / OPERATOR of my own "In Home" small business. I started this business brcause I love to go to gaming conventions. The price however is prohitive. I also enjoy sewing medieval, renaissance, and fantsay garb. By hand when I have the time or on the machine if I must. This small business while it does not bring in much money, does bring in enough money at a table rented at most conventions to cover the costs and spending money at the convention itself. And if you are out here you probably had to pass by my main index and saw my link to my on-line business page. There you will find pics of people who have purchased my garb, see examples of the garb to purchase, find a text file to down load and fill out with size info. I make to order any outfit that you want. And I back my product 100%.

10/97 to 2/98 E N E ENTERPRISES
PART OWNER/OPERATOR of our second small home based business.
My husband worked for Lanter Delivery for 5 years. In October they told him that he could either go contract or lose his job do to shut down of the company here in Columbia. We opted to try the route on our own. We discovered after lots of hard work and several vans, that it just would not work for us. We gave proper notice and terminated our contract with On Time Delivery.

12/96 to 2/97 UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI COLUMBIA, MO
TEMP GREETER for the UNIVERSITY BOOKSTORE at BRADY COMMONS
I was hired as a temporary door greeter for the University Bookstore by Mindy Fredericks during the end of fall semester and at the beginning of spring semester. I was to watch the door, greet people as they came in, help them to locate items when they could not find them. I was also to watch what was carried in and out and to try to keep theft down at this time. The bookstore installed an Inventory control system in between semesters and this job pretty much lost alot of its need to exist. I was let go a couple of weeks into the sememster as I was told I would be when I was hired. Job Closed.

2/96 to 10/96 FLORIST DIST. INC COLUMBIA, MO
DRIVER for wholesale floral company
I was hired as a delivery driver of flowers and floral supplies. When I would go in in the mornings we would open the boxes of freshly arrived flowers cut them and put them in water. Then we would pull the local morning flowers and supplies. After that was done we would pull the outbound stuff going to all of the HyVee stores in Missouri and up to Quincy Ill. I would help to pack the flowers and supplies. I was very bad at this and avoided it at all costs. I would help to load all 3 trucks for their daily routes. I would then take a delivery route out and be back at closing time. I also helped with the monthly inventory and cleaning and straighting up of the warehouse.

I do want to add a note here. I am one of those people that if you have a place you need me to go and you have an address I can get there. I can read a map "Very well" thank you, and I seem to have a natural nack for directions.

9/92 to 2/96 LANTER DELIVERY SYSTEMS COLUMBIA, MO
DRIVER on Fed Reserve Rt, then promoted to CLERICAL OPERATIONS CLERK for Lanter Delivery Systems out of Madison Ill.
I was hired to run a Fed Reserve Route down around the Lake of the Ozarks. I ran this route for about a year when a route up around the Mexico MO area opened up. I asked for it and recieved it. I ran this route for about another year when my boss found that he had a need of someone who knew the paper work in the office. I of course took the job. I had to do some typing, not much. I anwsered the phone and fielded the calls as they were needed to be fielded. I had to check all the other routes paperwork and be sure it was right before it was sent in for the day. I did the C.O.D.'s sending them off and getting money orders as needed. I had to deal with customer complaints and problems and be able to correct a route problem as it came up. I had to know where each route was at any point during the day and how far I could delay them to correct any problem. Or be able to send out a route supervisior if needed. I did this job to the best of my ability and improved with knowledge and time.

6/89 to 7/92 MARK'S KASINO MANAGMENT ROCHPORT, MO
BLACK JACK DEALER
I was hired and trained by Mark Slate to deal Black Jack in various clubs in and around the Columbia area. My job was to teach people to play Black Jack in the Las Vagas style so they could go to Las Vagas and have a better chance to win. This job was for entertainment only as you could not gamble in the state of Missouri at the time.

WHAT I DID IN TIMES NOT LISTED

In the areas in which I have not put down a job I have taken temp jobs to help with the bills a bit. Generally I have been a hostess and or server in several restaurants.
I enjoy dealing with the public and talking to people. I have been told that talking is one of my better qualties or not if you do not like people who talk a lot.... Still working on how to take that one.
I also own and operater my own small business out of my home. It is designing and making to order medieval, renaissance, and fantasy garb.
I can honestly say that at no time have I not been working even if it sometimes looks more like I am having way to good of a time.

OFFICE AND COMPUTER SKILLS

I can use a copy machine and repair its minor problems.

I use a adding machine with great proficiency once I have become comfortable with the machine.

I can type, however not with any great speed.

I did, however, do all of the html coding for this and several other pages on my own.

Computers: I have been using an older Amiga for approx. 6 years. I feel comfortable using the Amiga. I also now own a 686 and find that I can use it with equal ease. At my current job I am using a Machintosh and a Gateway. all of these are very usable machines for me.

OTHER SKILLS AND OR CERTIFICATIONS

I hold a valid class E Missouri drivers license.
