From Quang Tri to Rome

Starting out in Mobile, Alabama, I made a lot of stops before arriving in Denver, Colorado.  My first overseas assignment was with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.  A few years later, I began a career with the U.S. Department of State in the Foreign Service.

For current news stories on the matters I covered at the Department of State, click here.   For my views on what's wrong with our foreign policy and where we should be heading, click here.

Here are a few pictures and some background information of the stops along the way.

Northern I Corps, Vietnam, during the Vietnam War in 1969-70
Sao Paulo, Brazil, in the1970s
Bangkok, Thailand, in the 1980s
Brasilia, Brazil, in the 1980s
Warsaw, Poland, in the 1990s
Rome, Italy, in the 1990s

I have retired from the U.S. Department of State, and am looking for a job in the Denver area. Please see my resume.   Meanwhile, I am running a small computer service company.  Click here to see my business webpage.  Let me know by e-mail or phone if you would like some computer support or have a job to offer.
