Den Excel Files for Microsoft Office 97 or 2000
You may wish to print this page for ease of use while trying it. For Microsoft Windows 95/98 users who also have Microsoft Office 97 or 2000, the listed files are linked for download. The size of the file in Kb and estimated download time (with a 28.8 modem) is also shown. As you can see, it would take twice as long to download the individual files. See our weasel words below. The files are available as uncompressed Excel files (Items 3 to 7 below), or as one large compressed self-extracting file (Item 2 below). You can choose whichever method is most efficient for you. If you need to download more than two of the individual files the Item 2 file will be faster.
INSTRUCTIONS (for Items 3 to 7 below): Position cursor over the desired link. Then right click. Up will come a menu. Left click on "Save Target As", and save the file on your hard disk wherever you want, most likely in the "My Document" folder or in a "Downloads" folder that you create (using File/New/Folder in Windows Explorer). Then click Save.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ENTIRE SELF-EXTRACTING ZIP FILE ONLY (for Item 2 below): Click on the link. Up will come a "File Download" box. Make sure that "Save this program to disk" is on, and click OK. Then a "Save As" box will appear which will allow you to save the file to any location on your hard disk. By clicking on the manila folders on the upper and lower windows you can select the location where the downloaded file will be saved (See the next note for creating a new folder). Once you determine where you want the file, click Save.
CREATING A NEW FOLDER: Open Start/Programs/Windows Explorer. Click on any folder to open it. (We will use the "My Documents" folder for this example. Click on File/New/Folder. A folder will appear in the right window with the "New Folder" name flashing. Type in any name you want, like "Internet Downloads", then hit Enter. If you want to change the name of a file or folder, just single click on it to highlight it, then hit the F2 key, then type the new name and hit Enter.
REVISION COMMENT: The Job Log has an automatic method for
calculating Summary Sales by Year.
Business Plan updated for current format. Ad Planner contains main budget page as required, and is now
linked to Business Plan.
