SALAD DRESSINGS

CUCUMBER DRESSING
1/2 C. buttermilk
1/2 C. sour cream
1 C. mayonnaise
3/4 tsp. onion powder
3/4 tsp. MSG
1 Tbs. dried parsley
1 cucumber peeled, seeded, and chopped
1 tsp. dried dill weed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1.  Chop cucumber in food processor.  Put in a bowl. 
2.  Add remaining ingredients.  Stir all with a wire whisk until well blended.

ITALIAN SALAD DRESSING
2 Tbs. Onion Juice (extract from onion in a juicer)(you can buy it in store,
but is much more expensive)
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. salt
2/3 C. vinegar
2 C. oil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
You can add other spices to your liking, i.e., Italian seasoning, pepper, etc.
1.  Mix all ingredients in a blender.  Refrigerate.  Shake well before using.


HONEY MUSTARD DRESSING
1 C. mayonnaise
1 C. dijon mustard
1/4 C. yellow mustard
1 C Honey
1/4 C white vinegar
1/2 tsp. paprika

1.  Combine mayonnaise with mustards in a bowl.  Mix until creamy.
2.  Mix in paprika.
3.  Add honey and vinegar and mix well.  Refrigerate.

MAYONNAISE
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 Tbs. white vinegar
1 C. canola oil
1.  Blend all but oil in blender.
2.  Slowly pour in oil, stopping to scrape down once or twice.
3.  Chill.  Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
RANCH DRESSING
1/2 tsp. salt (use 1 tsp. if not using MSG)
1/2 tsp. MSG
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 Tbs. dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. dried dill (optional)
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 C. mayonnaise
1 C. buttermilk
1.  Mix spices together in a bowl.
2.  Add  mayonnaise and mix well.
3.  Add buttermilk and mix well.  Pour into glass jar.  Shake well.
4.  Chill 2 hours for flavors to blend.
