Gained needed knowledge in Quark, Macintosh systems, News Edit Pro, pagination, layout, editing, photography, PhotoShop, interviewing, PageMaker, Corel WordPerfect and Associated Press style.

Worked with local police departments, fire departments and business leaders on a daily basis under constant deadlines for our paper.

Worked on the production; used my knowledge of PageMaker for folios, pictures, daily columns, etc.

Positions and honors include President 1998, Vice-President 1997-1998, and Captain 1997-1999 and was chosen for the Allegheny Rugby Union select-side team 1998-1999.
