| I am an advocate of a clean environment and a smart world. My son is ten, his name is Johnathon. Johnathon has been raised with environmentalistic views and biases, so he knows better than to throw an aluminum soft drink can in the garbage. Other than that, I enjoy dancing, reading, mountain biking, camping, college and surfing the web. I listen to R&B, alternative, and Hip Hop. Some of my favorite artists include: Eve, Erykah Badu, Usher, Mario, Black Ice, Cranberries, Celine Dion, Mr. Magic, Fiend, Master P, Juvenille, Babyface, Britney and almost all of Cash Money Records' artists. Shoutout to Stacey Berkley with Maze and Franky Beverly. I live in New Orleans, therefore I feel a sense of pride to have such good artists coming out of Southern Louisiana. | Hurrican Katrina has devastated our entire area and has caused widespread depression. The gloomy blanket hangs over our heads in dismal uncertainty of the hurricane season approaching us. Although it seems so simple for someone outside looking in to say "move", it is a deep subject. Home is Home.....roots cannot be retracted with the expectation of gratitude and blossom. When something has been transplanted, it in essence dies first only to grow again in an adaptative form. We will grow, we will change, we will endure.....but we may not be smiling as we are transformed. To all those who are sustaining, maintaining and retaining, keep your chins up. The healing process may take a while. Be responsible for making yourself smile and enjoying life. Refuse to let the hurt and anger control your attitude and aspirations.
