Dear Parents,
As we approach our Spring Break, I hope you are planning to attend our 2nd trimester culminating event. Join us for an afternoon of politics and poetry on Wednesday, February 25th from 12:30 - 2. Students will share songs they've written about the War of 1812, read their letters to Congressmen, and recite some of the wonderful poems they've written. There will also be skits dramatisizing Inherit the Wind, a play we read this term.
The Eigth Grade will be travelling to Frisco for an afternoon of fun & bowling on February 18th. Students will leave at lunch and be back in time for car pool.
The 7th graders have just completed their tesselation project, with wonderful results. There are some real artists in the group, and I encourage you to view their work outside of HB8B.
Exams are coming up quickly, please check the VMS master calendar to find out when your child's exams are.
