Suggestion: Any plans for a family reunion?
Comments:
This website is totally amazing! I really enjoyed going through it. I am coordinating my family union. I'm a Snowball descendent. This massive project, which was hard at first, now seems to be coming together.
How do you make people see the importance of knowing their history and uniting with their family? Uniting will only make the family stronger. Remember, we choose our friends, but God chooses our family. After all, the main objective for having a reunion is to bring together family members from far and near, to fellowship with one another, meet those we've never met before, remember old times, and pay tribute to those who helped pave the way for us today.
This website is beautiful, but a family reunion is PRICELESS.

I think this is a very beautiful thing that you have done. I think everyone should have a link to their past, so they can look with greater clarity toward the future. If you need any kind of help, please feel free to contact me and I will provide whatever assistance I can.

Impressive, to say the least. Vast, very informative, and the aesthetics
are almost out of this world. I shall try to forward all the
information I can, as soon as I can.

I grew up in the bosom of a rather close-knit immediate family, always with a bit of curiosity about my family at large, but without true understanding of how the union of two people that I had not ever heard of before 1994 - Frances and Robert Anderson -
had really bestowed upon me the gift of legacy, of history, and of belonging. With Lily's inspiration, I gained knowledge and the means to further explore my heritage. Now with the help of some of the eldest living relatives, I have the opportunity to support you in your journey into the past and hopefully into the future. It has been a wonderful, fruitful venture for me, and I wish you all the pleasure, adventure and excitement that I have experienced while working towards documenting "The Descendants
f Frances and Robert Anderson."
My journey doesn't end here, but I certainly hope this page will be a starting point for another descendant's trek into the past and the future. We welcome any assistance, expertise, time and effort that you are willing to offer. Volunteers, well-wisher
- please contact us via Earlston Anderson's, Joan Drummond's or my e-mail address. (See their postings in this guest book).
Thank you for stopping by and I wish you all the best.

This is a good thing you are doing... I need to know my roots. From whenst I came is important. You may never know this. However, I don't know any of the names-faces listed. However, they are family. Include me in this venture.

Suggestions: Reunion Activities...(1) I would suggest that during the memorial we all try to remember each member of our family as far back as possible who have passed away. (1) I would like to suggest that we could get some buttons to remember the
date that the first reunion was kept.
Comments: Concerning the reunion of our family, I think it is a marvellous idea when families can come together to try and trace their roots and I am very happy to be a part of this historic event.

Comments: This opportunity to know my family unit is a exciting one for me. The few family members that I already know is wonderful, but it is much more fulfilling to see and talk to those who I have never seen. The idea to launch this family r
union is important. This enlightens one about his/her native, and traditional acts. This of course provide ways and means of exploring the great clan. One which has morals and a sense of self worth.
I am thankful for being open up to this world of hope of meeting, sharing, embracing, and accepting each other as a family which are in touch with each other.

Mother: Nora Anderson
Father: Everad Johnson
Comments: I think it is a very good idea.
Hermine Adassa Green - March 1992
Mother: Mildred Morgan
Father: Wesley Morgan
Suggestions: Reunion Activities - (1) Make an acrostic using the letters of ANDERSON and KIDD, (2) Use some of the names in describing the dishes served e.g., Greta's Tossed Salad, Juanita's Rice and Peas
Comments: This is a wonderful gesture in planning this family tree. It reminds me of Alex Halle's production Roots. Caring for each other is really following our Lord's injunction in loving one another as He loves us. May all your effort be su
cessful and the whole exercise be enjoyable, interesting and exciting.
I am sorry that I won't be there but my spirit will be with you in your endeavours.
God bless you all.
Mildred Rose Anderson-Morgan - March 1992

Comments: It's a very good suggestion that we trace the roots of our families as I believe that this would lead to a better understanding and unity among all of us.
God bless you.
