Currently I am a NSW Purchasing Officer for Ansett Australia Airlines. My main responsibility is to procure all requirement in New South Wales (NSW - State). I have been working for the same company since 2nd of March 1992.

I have held 4 positions, including my present since I joined the company. First as a Sales Support, doing and learning mostly Commercial Sales work. Second as a Project Assistant, I was appointed to do this job due to my proposal regarding " Response to complaint mail". Before my proposal, all letters go to Melbourne for processing and response. My proposal was actually a starting point of decentralising response to customer letters. Third and the last before my current position is Supply Administration, doing mostly inventory control and Supply administration.

Before migrating to Australia, I worked as a Legal Assistant for Planters Bank in the Philipplnes.  My main responsibility was to make sure all documents presented to the bank for loan purposes are legal and valid.  This was my first paying job...

During my university study, I did a voluntary research work for the Economic Research Centre.  Even though I did not get paid for that job, I enjoyed the experience and learned a lot from it.
