If you start heading north on Rt. 3 (Mystic Street) from Arlington, you will eventually pass the Payless/Marshalls spot, then Rt. 128; then Building 19; then after a 20-minute drive - eventually wind up in front of the KMart and Burlington Coat Factory plaza.
-- 4: Lexington St. in Waltham, in the "Wal-Lex" shopping complex: T J Maxx, Staples, McDonalds. Take Rt. 2 to the Lexington St, Waltham Exit. Don't take the Waltham St, Lexington exit!
-- 5: Marshall's and Bradlees in the Meadow Glen Mall, Medford, on Rt 16.
-- 6: Great Road in Bedford (Exit 31A/B? off I95 - or take Mass Ave into Lexington Center from Arlington, and then bear right at the Minuteman) TJMaxx and Home Goods in one plaza, and a Marshalls a few minutes further down the road in another.

Take right at the "This way to Woburn" - follow the sign. In Woburn, there will be a McDonalds, with a indoor playground. Drive more, and see another McDonalds on the right, with a BurgerKing on the left. (you can also get here by driving north from Arl Center on Rte 3/Mystic St)

Directions to Arlington [Be Warned, it is not easy :-)]
Directions to Arlington, from North, coming on Rt 93 South: Take Route 93 South to the Medford Square Route 60 exit. Come off the exit ramp and stay on route 60 into Medford Square, going straight through one traffic light. At the main intersection and lights in Medford Square, turn LEFT, following signs for Route 16 West. Go one block and turn RIGHT onto Route 16 West. Continue with the directions below from Route 16 West.
Directions to Arlington, from South, coming on Rt 93 North: Take Route 93 North to the Mystic Valley Parkway Route 16 exit. As you come off the exit ramp, stay in the left hand lane which will put you onto Route 16 West. Continue with the directions below from Route 16 West. Directions to Arlington, coming on Rt 16 West: -- 1: Stay on 16 west for 1.8 miles, passing through several traffic lights, and a Wild Oats supermarket. At the small rotary, stay in the left lane, to stay on route 16. You will then pass a sign welcoming you to Somerville and some small apartment buildings. At the traffic light with Johnny's Foodmaster on your left, turn right onto Broadway. Keep going on Broadway, it will hit Arlington Center and join with Mass Ave. -- 2: (?) Stay on 16 west for 1.8 miles, passing through several traffic lights, and a Wild Oats supermarket. At the small rotary, stay in the right lane, and take the right turn to Mystic Valley Parkway, the river will be on your right. Go straight through the next light, and you will come to a rotary. Go straight through the rotary, and you'll come to a light. Go straight, and the road becomes Summer St. Take a left on Mill St to get to Johnny's Foodmaster (north of Arlington Center), etc.
Directions to Arlington, coming on Rt 2: Take the Rt 60 Pleasant St exit [Be sure not to take the Pleasant St Lexington exit - look for Rt 60!] [Warning: In evening rush hour, Rt 60 is jam packed] Go East, cross one light. Next light is Arlington Center, Mass Ave. Take Right to go towards Arlington East, or Take Left to go to Arlington Heights.
