Five Mile Bay Homestay offers a welcoming break in a lovely Lockwood home set amidst a quarter of an acre of gardens and lawns bordering the beautiful shores of Lake Taupo, with spectacular, panoramic views of the lake and the nearby Mountains - Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro.

The accommodation comprises one sunny double room leading onto a private courtyard and garden area with your choice of country style or continental breakfast.

Or for the more self sufficient we have to offer an open plan studio room with lake views and all day sun. The room has a mini kitchen with hob/microwave/fridge, television, double futon sofa bed and french doors giving direct access to the lakeside. Continental breakfast included.

• Both rooms have heating, electric blankets and share a private shower/toilet with laundry facilities.

• Our conservatory and barbecue area are available for your enjoyment and a carport provides secure parking.

• Dinghy, outboard, fishing and safety equipment can be hired for $20.00 per hour and launching accessed directly from the homestay.

• Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

• Courtesy transfer to airport/bus terminal.
