It's a pleasure to have you visit with us.
I've been working with and programming computers since 1986. I've been
designing web pages Since 1998, it's become quite an enjoyable
"hobby." Since I've taken my hobby pro and I am employed in the computer industry, my wife and I
thought this would be an ideal way to showcase my talents, share who we are and what we're
all about. This page was originally designed in 1998 using HTML 4.0 (hardcoded the whole
thing) I rebuilt it in 1999 using FrontPage 98 after getting my Microsoft
Professional Certification in FrontPage. Today, we have a small business, we are Microsoft Business Partners and we all use the latest version of Frontpage available, of course. I've earned a great deal over the years and have continued to learn and do more to increase my knowledge of a wide range of products along with the Microsoft core products of Office and Visual Studio. Depending on your browser - The song that should be playing in the background is called: "Canon." If you use Firefox, likely you will not hear it. This song was played at our wedding, (pistured below) and it obviously means a great deal to us. It's a beautiful song. |

The big kiss is obvious here! Then of course cutting the cake. My wife and I are quite traditional and conservative. We're both college educated. In fact, we met in a math science class in June of 1997. Funny thing is, we hated each other when we met! She was coming off a bad marriage and was now a divorced single mom of two. I was a single dad with two kids of my own and had raised both my own children for nine years as a single dad. On the first day we met, she weighed 250+ pounds (see the weight loss photos link above) and was unhappy about circumstances of her divorce. On the second and third days she was just as upset... | ![]() |
Having read all the John Gray "self help
books" on relationships to try to figure out where and if I were doing anything wrong
in my own relationships with women, I understood her confusion. One day, I turned around
and said to her in a quiet assuring voice that I was a single dad and that not all men are
bad guys. I also confided in her that my wife had done to me the same as her husband to
her. A sympathetic ear - I listened she talked - this went on for weeks, and we became
good friends. As our education continued, we had to break up into study groups one day... guess who we were paired with? She didn't understand the median and average formulas we were learning at the time, or so she says, and she called me a lot at home... and I became kind of a tutor to her. Did I mention she got a better grade in the class than I did?!! Yeah, she got a 3.8 and I got a 3.4. Is that funny or what? We soon became best friends and respect each other greatly. In fact as you look below, you'll see that we did not stuff cake into each others face - we respect each other enough to not do those kinds of things. |
