A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
My name is Roberto Gil Torres I was born and raised in the Mid Rio Grande Valley where I went to Mercedes High School. Prior to graduation I enrolled in the United States Army at the age of 17 where I served as a Medical Specialist. Due to an unfortunate accident I had to leave the Army and return home where I enrolled at South Texas Vo-Tech Institute. There I received my certification as a Computer Accountant.
Immedately after graduation from STVTI I began working as a Senior Accountant for "de los Santos Enterprises", A growing and promising company which at that time owned a Furniture Store and a Photo Shop.
While I was working full time as an Accountant for de los Santos Enterprises I enrolled at the "University of Texas at Pan American" where I continued my education in Accounting and Business Management.
By 1990 I married my beautiful wife Maria H. Torres and moved to San Antonio and worked as an Office Manager for a Dallas based self storage company. By 1992 I began working for "Teleservice Resources" ,a former AMR subsidiary, where I worked as a reservation agent for "American Airlines".
In April of 1995 Teleservice Resources landed the contract for Customer Service for easy SABRE where I applied for this contract and got the job along with 19 other agents and we build from the ground up what is now TRAVELOCITY Where I currently am a supervisor in charge of the Ticketing department.
