These are some of the people that have in effect
created who I am today. In essence, almost anyone a person comes in contact
with can change the course of a person's life, but these people are the
major contributors that I can recall. Please do not feel slighted for not
appearing on these pages, because I agonized at the thought of forgetting
someone. |

Mother
Ah, mothers. They take the sharp edges off of
their sons so society doesn't get cut on a sharp personality. She has instilled
compassion and understanding of human personalities that has served me
well. She taught me how to cook the old fashion way. She pasted the skilled
craftsman gene of her father onto me for which I am grateful for. And in
the end, she taught me how to die with a faith in God that proves it is
a beginning and not an end in our journey through life. God rest your soul
dear mother. |
Father
It was a man with a hammer
Invented the wheel
Built the house you live in
And my automobile
He can fix what you break
He can make what you need
Son a man with a hammer
Is a mighty fine thing to be

Being a carpenter for most of his life and building
houses from the ground up, along with cabinets and furniture, what better
a person to learn from. I worked beside him for a number of years and although
I learned a lot about carpentry, I also learned wood wasn't my median to
express myself. The transition from father to friend has been a great journey.
Below, he is teaching me how to be a bump on a log while at the Oregon
coast. This will come in handy during the hunting season this year. |

Sister
My sister helped me hone the skill of picking on people. hehehe! She
used me as her baby doll when I was a babe, fought and played with me through
my youth, and is my companion and secret keeper through the rest of our
lives. As Spock would say, live long and prosper sisturd. |
