What are the hardest to find Chatty Cathys? The African American versions. They were made in 2 hair styles: page boy and longer pig tails. Really enjoyed looking at all the Chattys. It was terrific! Brought bact good memories of when I had my Chatty. Went to eBay (I'm new at this) to try to bid on some Chatty Cathy dolls but seems like too many dealers and high bidders to compete against. Just found a Chatty Baby bassinet/carrier in great condition at a yard sale though! I got my first "Chatty Cathy" doll when I was two years old. I didn't pay much attention to her until she broke. Then I cried and cried for my chatty cathy doll. Pretty soon after, my mom gave me a new Chatty Cathy and imprinted my love for that doll f rever. Thank you for sharing a memory and bringing a childlike sparkle to my eyes and warmth to my heart.
