A whole new year and a new millenium! I know, I am tired of hearing about it too. Well, it has been busy around here. Christmas was terrific. Parker got spoiled beyond belief but unfortunately he also got sick while we were visiting his Grandma and Papa. We also bought a house over the holidays so that is pretty exciting. We will be moving back to Listowel April 20th, in time to celebrate Parker's second birthday there. Parker is getting so big, no one could have told us it would happen this fast! He runs around at top speed, which is very fast I can assure you. He sings or talks pretty much non stop. His vocabulary is growing and soon I hope we can have a bit more of a conversation. Parker decided he had had enough of his crib, and to make that point clear to his mommy he thought he needed to take a flip out of it! We got him a toddler bed right away, which of course he can get in and out of on his own and takes full advantage of it!!! So needless to say, nap time is once again a battle of wills. We are hoping the novelty wears off soon! Here are some photos we got done just before the holidays.

20-21 months old

November 1999
How time flies! I don't even know where to start. Parker had a fantastic summer. All the swimming and playing in the park was just great fun for him. He was to the doctors last in September and he got the chicken pox vaccine. His doctor says he is above the 100th percentile in both height and weight. She thinks he is going to be tall. Wonder how that will happen with two shrimps for parents? At 15 months Parker stopped drinking from a bottle and he has started brushing his teeth. He loves his own special Barney toothbrush and toothpaste. Parker has a terrific appetite and eats just about everything. He just loves fruits and vegetables. He is still as active as ever, now just at a faster speed.

Fifteen to Seventeen Months

June 27 1999

Wow, it sure has been awhile! So much has been going on. Parker is growing so fast. We just visited the doctor and he weighs 24lbs 15oz and is 30" long. He has 7 teeth and number 8 will be making an appearance very soon. He just loves being in the pool and running around outside. His favourite playmates are other kids and dogs! He is eating all sorts of things now. No more yucky baby food for this big boy. His favourites are bananas, kiwi, carrots, hotdogs, french fries, chicken breast, bread and of course dill pickles! Parker hit the Big One on May 31st.
