NEW MEMBERS AND GUESTS ARE ALWAYS
WELCOME!
CYMK provides a
chance for Ukrainian Orthodox Youth to be with one
another and learn about their faith and culture. We
encourage all Ukrainian Orthodox youth to join CYMK and become
involved in their beautiful religion and culture. Come have fun while serving
God! Anyone can join or visit our group.
Our goals in
CYMK are to provide leadership, culture, religion and friendship.
Our group in Vernon provides all these and more!!
Throughout the
years we have had language classes, religious sessions, plays,
luncheons, outings, crafts and fun, fun, fun!

Membership:
Being a
CYMK member has many benefits. Not only do you receive a really cool National CYMK Newsletter, Zaklyk, and your Regional
Newsletter, but you can take part in all the CYMK events, whether
they be at the Local, Regional or National Level. You will
establish friendships with young people across Canada and
increase your awareness of, and activity in, our Ukrainian
Orthodox Community. Maybe the best part is how much fun CYMK can
be and how much you will enjoy your years as a CYMK member.
Shortly
after one joins CYMK, they realize that that they have
joined a family, a family which extends itself beyond homes and
beyond provinces. CYMK has been, is and always will be a members
extended family, a CYMK Family.

Our Vernon Branch:
This year we have
15 very active
members. Each of us plays an active role in our CYMK family. All of
our members participate in each of our events as well as we have members who are
altar servers, participate in the church choir, take piano lessons, Ukrainian
dance, Ukrainian Language lessons from the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Jazz
lessons, play soccer, basketball, sing in the school choir, and many of us are
honor roll students, just to name a few things??
We always welcome new members or
guests to our group and we have a very strict open door policy.
