Dr. Mike: (to Colleen) "Never hide behind the fact that you're a woman. And don't give up on your dreams just because you're afraid you can't achieve them in a man's world. You just have to fight even harder to make them come true".
Michaela (to Elizabeth): "There are some women, you meet, and it's as if you've known them forever. Other women you can know for a lifetime, and it's as if they're complete strangers."
Grace: "Sometimes people disappoint you, and you just have to let it go and love them anyways."
Watkins: "It's just if a woman like Dr. Quinn looked at me the way she looks at you? I'd fall down on one knee and promise myself to her forever."
Sully to Michaela: "The truth is I care about you all a lot... especially you."
Michaela: "What are you doing?"
Sully: "That's obvious, ain't it?"
Michaela: "You're just leaving?"
Sully: "Nothin' ta stay for."
Michaela: "Without even saying goodbye?"
Sully: "Goodbye."
Michaela: "Why did you come here?"
Sully: "What do you care?"
Michaela: "I care!"
Sully: "Well, you sure didn't act like it back there at that meetin'!"
Michaela: "I asked you a question."
Sully: "Why did I come?"
Michaela: "Yes."
Sully: "I told ya."
Michaela: "What's the real reason?"
Sully: "Because."
Michaela: "Because why?"
Sully: "Because I love you."
(the train lurches and she falls against Sully, his arms embracing her to keep her from falling; she pushes away and leaves, exiting the train station and wiping the tears from her eyes; after returning to her mother's home and finding Sully gone, she decides to return to Colorado; Colleen sees Sully first and tentatively touches her back; she turns and sees him, then hesistantly walks towards him; he opens his arms slightly, she runs down the street and he catches her in his arms, swinging her around)
Michaela: "I love you, too."
Mike: "In my heart I know where I want us to be. But I don't know how we'll get there."
Sully: "Me neither. There's no maps. But if you're willing to start off without one..."
Mike: "I am."
Sully: "Then I know where to start."
Sully: "There's no lookin' back. You do the best you can at the time. That's all you can do."
Mike: "You know what Sam said? She said that seeing us together is like watching a fire burn."
Sully: "Is that good?"
Mike: "Well, ignore a fire and it burns out. But if you tend to it, take care of it, feed it...it keeps growing bigger, burns brighter."
Sully: (to Michaela) "You always come back to those ya love."
Sully: (pulling a shade down and kissing Michaela in between each "darker") "It's gettin' darker....an' darker....an' darker....."
Michaela: (pulling down the final shade) "and darker..."
Michaela: "I'll be your family."
Sully: "An' I'll be your best friend."
Sully: "Just 'cause somethin's out of reach, don't mean you can't get it."
"Truth is Dr. Mike saved my life."
"I still can't believe I have a baby sister!"
"She's got yer eyes Sully."
"Not much hair though, considerin' it's parents!"
