As many of you can tell, this page has been here awhile, and has been pretty much stale. But we got tired of looking at it being the same for so long, so now our page is going through another transition phase.  Just sit tight and please don't mind the dust. If you have any suggestions, E-mail the

Overview of Our Band

We are the top 5A, corps style marching band in Region 21 (East Texas). We are a highly rated Sweepstakes Band. We've made alot of firsts in band and we plan to keep on making them. There are 200+ of the finest students in Tyler. We believe that in order to have a good band, you must have the three D's. Discipline, Determination, and Desire. Also, you can't just come to practice and be on time, because to be early is to be on time, and to be on time is to be LATE! Being at practice early shows that we have the desire to be the best of the best. Our standard is perfection and nothing less.

Did You Know?

  • Lee was the first high school in our district to convert from military to corps style marching.
  • Lee was also the first school in our area to include the Color Guard (Flags) in the band.
  • There's a really big check written for a whole bunch of money in 1983 sitting in the attic.
  • On a sunny day the bald guy's head emits exactly 148.4 watts of light energy.
