There is a bridge connecting heaven and Earth. It is called the
Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge is a land of meadows, hills, and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other. There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So each day they run and play until the day comes when suddenly one stops playing and looks up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group! You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your
trusting pet. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.

The Poem above I was given to ease my pain about  the loss of a fellow animal (Yes Humans are animals too..). The background music is played by me...Max loved it, When I went outside at night to look up at the sky for art inspiration he'd lay next to me while I played the song just being content I was there. He taught me more about emotions  in the last few days of his life than I have learned in my whole lifetime-animals truly are superior to us in many ways we have yet to learn. Where ever you are Max just know I will never forget you, and I love you...you were a good dog...farewell

When we two parted
In silence and tears,
Half broken-Hearted
To sever for years,
Pale grew your cheek and cold,
Colder thy kiss;
Truly that hour foretold
Sorrow to this

The dew of the morning
Sunk chill on my brow-
It felt like the warning
Of what I feel now
Thy vows are all broken
And light is thy fame;
I hear thy name spoken
And share in its shame

They name thee before me,
A knell to mine ear;
A shudder comes over me-
Why were thou so dear?
They know not I knee thee,
Who knew thee, too well
Long, long shall I love thee
Too deeply to tell

In secret we met-
In silence I grieve,
That thy heart could forget,
They spirit deceive
If I should meet thee
After long years, how shall I greet thee!-
With silence and tears...
