Jo Ann lives in Colorado Springs in a new house located at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain with husband Dan Farris and their three children, Joel Benjamin Farris, born August 17, 1993, Rebekah Abigail Farris, born April 16, 1996, and Annabelle Deborah Farris, born July 23, 1999.

Since graduation from Colorado College in 1978, Jo Ann has lived in Long Beach, California, San Francisco, California, and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She began coaching figure skating in 1983 after earning her California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 1982. She now coordinates the student, faculty, and staff skating programs at Colorado College, and she is also an Assistant Skating School Director at the new Ice Arena at Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs. She teaches many private students of all ages and levels, and she also coaches in-line skating. Jo Ann also has recently completed a book: HOW TO JUMP AND SPIN ON IN-LINE SKATES. Hobbies include swimming, in-line skating, stroller skating, cross country skiing and skate skiing, cooking, playing the piano, enjoying music, and reading.

Husband Dan works at the Veterans Affairs office in Colorado Springs. In addition to all the hobbies Jo Ann enjoys, Dan also enjoys gardening.

The entire Farris family also enjoys short hikes in the beautiful Colorado Springs area. Joel and Dan also love to eat sweets, while Rebekah and Jo Ann like all kinds of vegetables!

Rebekah and Joel have 4 wonderful grandparents: Grandpa Arthur and Grandma Edie, and Grampa John and Grama Freddie.

They also have many, many cousins: Cousin Drew, Cousin Cody, Cousin Cori, Cousin Phoebe, Cousin Charlie (from Jo Ann's side). Cousin David, Cousin Adam, Cousin Andy, Cousin Timaree, Cousin Julie, and Cousin Desiree (from Dan's side). These are just their 1st cousins! There are second and third cousins too, some of these are Cheryl and son Josh.

Joel and Rebekah also have many aunts and uncles: Aunt Lynnellen, Aunt Amy, Uncle Billy, Uncle Mike, Uncle Pat, Aunt Sandy, Aunt Penny, Uncle Jack, Aunt Wendy, Aunt Mo, and Uncle Don.
