11/29/00This is a partial list of things we've won. It's hard to remember to add them to the
page each time. 12/11/98 Yes we did get our wrestling tickest as we were hoping for, but
not the way we planned. It came down to a guessing game on the END, and after 1/2 hour
of frantically hitting re-dial, Ashley came through with the right answer. (with a little
help from the DJ. It helps to have them on your side) Then as if that wasn't enough, that
afternoon Val was the lucky caller #10 on STAR 101.5 and got herself movie tickets, a
hat, and lunch for two in seattle ($50.00 value )She is also qualified for the drawing for a
night at the Four Seasons, and dinner at some swanky restaurant. Ashley did get her
check for $90.00 from KZOK, (Robin and maynard promised to try to sneak it through
the promotions department) but we were told sternly we must wait 90 days before we
play again.(their rule book says 30) We did win a book from 107 the end (never got it),
and $95.00 plus 2 tickets to see Journey (BFD), from KJR (to be given to my sister), we
have yet to pick up a weekend vacation from STAR 101.5. Not to fret, our other
cel-phone is back from the shop, giving us 4 lines out and better odds. 01/04 Ashley
scored more tickets to W W F wrestling from 107.7 THE END. Friday 01/08/99 won
tickets to Eddie Money at the Riverboat Casino from KJR FM. (He does a great show! If
you have a chance to see him, I highly recomend it.) 02/10/1999 won a T-shirt from
107.7 on the box of crap. This is easy pickings for you first time players. Just be awake
@ 5:50 AM and call as soon as they say that the box of crap is coming up. You'll get
through every time. (Early bird gets the worm) The prizes suck but what the hell, the
price it right! 03/02/99 What a morning! Got the hat trick. At 6:00 AM I won a magic 8
ball aoutgraphed by "Boy George" from 107.7 THE END. At 6:30 Ashley won the KJR
impossible trivia. She picked up a classic hits CD and two movies. And at 7:30 we were
the champions on 107.7 for the most awful sound over the phone. I ran over an old
lawnmower engine with another lawnmower. This nifty trick gets to the second row of
WWF wrestling on April 15th. (On 107.7 I am now known as the Lawnmower
Man.)03/29/99 while on my way home from 107.7 picking up the wrestling tickets, I won
a Paul Mc Cartney CD from 102.5 playing the "Elevator From Hell. 05/03/99 Ashley
helped us win a Mother's Day Prize package for Grandma Judy. She gets flowers, a day
of beauty at the spa, breakfast for 4 and a whole crap pile of other stuff! 05/27/99 won an
Austin Powers prize package from 95.7 for the mystery movie. June 3rd KOZK let us
play again, and we are now $30.00 richer. July 30th or therer abouts I won a real cool
Bite of Seattle shirt on 107.7. August 5th I correctly identified the "mystery movie on
KJR and got a sweet pair of sunglasses. August 25th Got lucky on KZOK classic rock
trivia and won the movie "There's Somthing About Mary", dinner fot four at Subway, and
4 tickets to Bumpershoot. Septemper we finally won the theTop of The Hour Giveaways
on STAR 101.5, Val won tickets for Ladied Night Out @ the Mariners game, and
Mariners prize pack. In November I was the champion for 5 days on Star 101.5 battle of
the sexes. I won a buttload of stuff. Cd's, Movie passes, tickets to their Christmas show,
and a nice dinner at the Melting Pot Restaurant. 11/15 I won $20.00 again from Robin
and Maynard. 11/20 I won a cd collection from Harry Chaffen. (he did "The cats in the
cradle"). December is here and today, the 5th I won tickets to the Deck the Hall Ball
from 106.1 fm, also a surprise gift. I'll find out next week what the surprise is. 11/13 won
tickets on 107.7 the end to the Deck the Hall Ball. 11/20 Won tickets to the Jingle bell
Bash on 106.112/15 MAJOR SCORE=Trip for Val and I to Mexico for 5 days. It's about
time I won some real stuff. Think I'll buy me a lotto ticket tomorrow. 02/01 Kory won the
top of the hour giveaways on STAR 101.5 again. (It's been over 30 days since we won the
trip) We get a nice box of chocolates, flowers from Lake City Florist, and a chance to win
the weekend getaway to the ocean for Valentines day. The cordless phone has been down
for over a month, but we've got a new one now, and on02/02 in the 7:00 hour I won a box
of fine chocolates and a gift certificate to Blockbuster Video from KJR FM 95.7, and
later in the afternoon I won 2 tickets to the premier of "The Wall 2000" from KZOK FM
10.25. 03/07 I won 2 Sonics tickets while sitting on 405 from The Mountain 104.3. 04/16
I won Val a $50.00 gift certificate to White's Nursery.03/08 @ 7:30 AM I won $60.00
from KZOK on pile on, and got in some good slams on Albertsons at the same time, and
@ 8:30 I won the Mystery movie again on KJR. We win 4 movie rentals from
Blockbuster (again) and 2 tickets to see a movie. We won twice on KJR. 4 tickets to see
the movie Frequency. I hear Roger Waters is comming to the Gorge. I'll have to work on
grabbing tickets. (someone has to be giving some away. I WILL GET SOME)05/03 I won tickets to Kansas and dinner for two at the Emerald Queen Casino from KZOK0. 5/27 while camping I won a KBSG prize pack with a bunch of junk. Coffee mug, T-shirt, and some other boring stuff. 06/07 I got the impossible trivia on KJR and won tickets to "Loverboy", and a week of basketball camp for one of the kids. 06/14 I scored 5 answers for $20.00 each on KZOK again and picked up a quick $100.00. 6/29, on the way to Canada, Val. played "
Use your Noodle" and won $90.00 from
KZOK September 13th I won $40.00 on Yeh, or neh from KZOK. We are trying real hard to win a DVD player from 101.5, been caller 1,14,47,76,84, but not yet 101. Update 09/20, Proof it pays to be persistant. I won the DVD player this morning @ 7:00. I heard that 101.5 is going to give away trips to Mexico again this Winter. What do you think the odds are that we'll win one again? Friday 09/21 I was caller 9 on KISW to win the new Sammy Hagar CD and qualify for the drawing on Monday for a trip to Sammy's club Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas.11/29/00 Been a while since we've won anything. I finally got through to KZOK again and won $80.00 on pile-on. Should come in handy for Christmas. Val wins $102.50 from KZOK on 09/07/01. Wnoo a cd pon the Mountain, but never picked it up. 03/02 Won $40.00 on 102.5. Said my name was Tom.6/04 better type somthing in or my page will be killed.
