Things To Do
 
                    1.  Make and enjoy instant oatmeal.
                    2.  Observe likenesses and differences in mittens.
                    3.  Retell stories using flannelboards.
                    4.  Make snowflake pictures.
                    5.  "Move" to the Skater's Waltz.
                    6.  Spell winter words in shaving cream on desks.
                    7.  Make a winter wonderland village.
                    8.  Change water into ice.  Discuss the scientific process involved.
                    9.  List all the adjectives you can brainstorm about snow or winter activities.
                    10.  Write a book called, "My Snowman".
                    11. Describe what children do when they play in the snow.
                    12.  Write the steps in making asnowman.
                    13.  Tell a story of the mitten from the mitten's point of view.
                    14.  Using watercolors, paint a winter scene.
                    15.  Cut out snowflakes.
                    16.  Plan a wood gathering trip.
                    17.  Make mittens and use together to create a matching game
                            (contractions, synonyms, etc.)
                    18.  Make popcorn snowmen.
                    19.  Show on the map the countries that are having winter when we are
                            and the ones that are not.
                    20.  Set up a tent in the room for the children to use.
