We live in Lennik, a village in the province of Flemish Brabant, Belgium.
We are situated at about 10 km west of Brussels. That region is called "Het Pajottenland".

It is a rural environment with typical Brabant square farms and a strong undulated relief, loved by many for its non-industrialised landscape.

Tourists can visit the castle of Gaasbeek nearby.

Our Gueuze, Kriek and Lambic beer, is brewed in accordance with an old regional tradition.

We stayed for a couple of weeks with Christmas.

During that period, many would-be artists are making sand-sculptures on the coast representing the birth of The Christ.
They do the same on other occasions.
The tourists may admire these pieces of art while walking by.

In summer however, we go to the Belgian coast. Cycling and walking are our main activities and from time to time we need a good meal at a restaurant.There are many. Most are specialised in fish menus, not too expensive but excellent. We enjoy it very much.

We have 2 lovely grand-children.  The elderly's name is Laura (born in 1995) and the youngest is Arne (1997). The pell-mell nearby, with pictures on which you can click to expand, show them in different ways, also with our daughter Kristel and Marc, her hubby.
