In Mid 1997 I took my first tentative steps
on the internet and found myself suddenly 
surrounded by bear lovers from all
around the globe.

My first "contact" was with a Lady named
Nancy Smith from New Hampshire USA.

Nancy was soon to become my first bear 
swap partner and since that first introduction 
we "talk" every day.

Nancy must be one of the nicest, kindest and most 
generous people I have had the pleasure to meet. 
She and her husband Mort, give so freely of their 
laughter and hugs that I wanted to share with you
