They had two children. Corrine Leigh Duguay was born on January 16, 1963. She was delivered two months early, weighing one pound and nine ounces and was in the hospital for three months after her birth.  Jeffery Scott Duguay was born exactly one year later on January 16, 1964. Joe received his Bachelors in Nursing from New York University in 1965.  Then in 1969, he graduated with a M.Ed. from Teachers College Columbia University.
