In today's society, children do not have enough rights. In a survey of thirteen people, all of the people said that children and teenagers do not have enough rights.
In my opinion I think certain laws are unfair and should be changed. Such as having school for six and a half hours, it should be the parents choice when and how long child goes to school. The age for being independent is to old, it should be sixteen instead of eighteen. We feel that teens in this world are responsible enough to live on their own and learn to work in today's society. Everyday teens our age try to find jobs but are refused the chance.
There are many and more rights on the street than in school. When your on the street you have more rights and at school you get less rights. We think that we should have the same rights in school that we have on the streets. We would probably learn more that way too.
