This book is written for the beginner. It has basic beliefs and correspondences, but I read it as a more experienced witch, so it was mostly useful for the spells.
21st Century Wicca by Jennifer Hunter
This book is not only instructional, but it deals with exercises teaching the reader how to direct energy and focus. I found this book extremely helpful. A nice change from the usual how-to recipe books.
Embracing the Moon by Yasmine Galenorn
Not very useful except for some good spells and powders.
Living Wicca by Scott Cunningham
This was the first book that I read, and though it was helpful, it is confusing for the beginner.
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner
"Living Wicca" is the sequel to this book. This book is great for those who are just starting out in the craft. It has all the info you will need to know. It's a godsent!!! READ IT! -submitted by Katie
