Easy peasy one bowl Lemon Sponge Cake.
Enjoy!
You will need:
6 oz Flour
6 oz Sugar
5 tbsps Milk
4 oz Butter or Margarine
2 Eggs
1 Lemon
1 tsp Baking Powder
Method:
1) Grease a baking tin (Two ring tins work best). Grate and
squeeze the Lemon and set aside the juice.
2) Put all the other ingredients into a mixing bowl and and
mix until creamy.
3) Place the mixture into the tin(s) and cook in the oven
at 190C until the edges of the cake begin to come away from the sides (about
30 minutes). Pour the lemon juice over the top of the cake.
4) Place on a wire rack to cool.
5) Eat!
