Make A Difference Day - October
Previous projects have included: painting the bike racks a wonderful metallic blue color; repainting interior of school building doors; filling the planter boxes in the front of school with new plants; weeding and planting of areas needing attention; refreshing paint on the curbs and stiping of the parking lot. Each year the projects are based on school needs.
Grade Level Potlucks - A PCNC Event
Supported by PTSA, these potlucks offer parents and students to interact on a purely fun and social basis with each other. Craft and other activities are planned for students at each potluck to give parents a chance to just visit with each other.
Holiday Family Fun Night - A PCNC Event
An evening of craftmaking for families to do together. A variety of projects are offered and students sign up for the craft of their choice.
This program is supported by the PTSA.
School Spirit T-Shirts
PTSA promotes school spirit through providing a school t-shirt for students to wear. The current t-shirt is white with a kelly green band which includes the yellow hibiscus and the hawk in a white medallion.
PTSA Family Fun Fair - March
This afterschool fair is designed for fun. All booths are a win/win proposition with prizes earned either way. Face painting, tattoos, food, drink, Pie in the Face and craft booths round out the afternoon's fun.
Faculty and Staff Appreciation Luncheon
Wednesday of Teacher Appreciation Week in May
PTSA hosts a "Just Desserts" get-together after school in the library for faculty and staff to enjoy.
Talent Night Dinner Show featuring Haha'ione Students
Held in conjunction with PTSA's General Membership Meeting in May, this production gives our students a chance to show their stuff.
A dinner is served before the entertainment begins.
The business of the evening is the election of officers for new fiscal year.
