Chinkay was born on July 28, 1996. Her real name is Maia Angela.

Maia is our Mom’s pen name as a romance writer in Manila.

Angela means angel, because Chinkay was our Christmas angel. You see, we found out for sure that Mom was really pregnant in December 1995.

Chinkay’s nickname is a combination of Chino and Chuchay. She looks just like us, too. All our baby pictures look the same.

She’s the star of the house right now. She makes everyone happy with her bright smile and giggles. She only has to see Kuya Chino’s funny face to smile. (Kuya means elder brother. It’s pronounced koo-yah.)
