In 1996 Jamie Leigh came to Bob Weinstein - co cairman of Dimension and had some new ideas for a new Horror movie. Bob was very excited about a new movie coming out which would revive the horror genre. That movie was Scream! Which is the best horror movie of the '90's.

Jamie and Bob talked, and the talk turned into an idea, Halloween: H20. Now they needed someone to take their idea and make it into a movie, and who better to write than Kevin Williamson. Kevin has written Scream, Scream 2, and I know what you did last summer. How could Bob get Kevin to write a treatment for the new Halloween? Well they made a deal that if he would write a treatment for the movie, Kevin could direct his first script, Killing Mrs Tingle.

Jamie and Kevin worked out a treatment, and gave it to the screenwriters of H:20 and they made the movie.

Some may ask why Jamie came back to the horror genre, and the answer is simple, with these new horror movies coming out people were forgetting who the original scream queen is, Jamie Leigh!

Now that Halloween: H20 is a hit, will Jamie be in the next in the series? Well, she hasn't ruled it out, and let me say it would be 10 times better if she was in it!
