That's how the Cheetahs Play.
Last night at the Westlake High School gym the 1-4 Screaming Cheetahs
took on the 0-5 Red Barons. Hopes were high and the pressure was
mounting.
The Cheetahs took first control after the tip off but were unable to convert. The Red Barons took over and rolled us over. Took us for an 8-0 run. Half way through the first half it was 11-3 and moral was dropping like the atom bomb.
BUT.....
The Cheetahs rally back to tie the game at 13 by halftime. And they continure to keep composure through the second half.
With a lead of about 2 or 3 throughout the second half the Cheetahs held on to be Victorious 26-22. A low scoring game filled with errors.....But Victory none the less.
Screaming Cheetahs move to 2-4, a 100% improvement over last year.
