  1. You are asked to undergo fingerprinting in the marshalling area
  2. Your coach has your DQ slip in his race package at the beginning of the meet
  3. Timers use your time card as a paper airplane
  4. Local swim club holds Stroke and Turn clinic at the end of your lane
  5. You notice your picture being distributed during the officials briefing
  6. P.A. system plays theme from "Dragnet" as you get up on the blocks
  7. Stroke and Turn judge asks you for proper spelling of your name as you are preparing to swim
  8. Officials are told to "Take your Marks" in your lane prior to your race
  9. Your head coach introduces you to the waterpolo coach
  10. As you are waiting for the starting signal, you hear an unmistakeable chorus of "Ribbets" from the officials circling the pool
