Commentary

Before the guestbook was installed, fans e-mailed comments and I posted them. Here is this page, in its original form.

Please do not ask for Rick Mirer's e-mail address: You won't get it!

I like your work. Thanks for being such a good fan, it is greatly appreciated.
I'll check out the page when I can to see what's new. Also, I am a pretty
big card collector so I will try to help you with your checklist if I can.
Take it easy.

As a Seattle fan since they entered the league I would have liked nothing better than #3 to blossom into a solid NFL quarterback, but it just aint happening. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but it's time for #17. Graham

Thanks for your homepage and the list of Rick's cards...it great! hey if he
ever stops by again...tell him that there are a lot of us that believe in his
ability to play QB.Can't wait until he is out of Seattle. I believe he
started with a bad team and ownership and like Bettis, needs a new beginning.

Nice web page. I coached Rick in High School & he's a good friend & the
families are friends. He's struggling this year, hope the Seattle crowd has
not been too hard on him. He's been in a tough situation out there. I hope
next year you get to change the uniform in the picture. Enjoyed it, trying
to get into a Seahawk message board to bash Erickson.

I would just like to thank Rick Mirer for three years at Seattle and
wish him the best in his new home. I feel Rick has show alot of class
this year considering what has thrown at him. I feel his game play has
been Great these last four games. I live in California so I rarely get
to see the televised games (The Raiders games must sell out before they
are shown) What I've seen Rick has alot of talent and at the right team
he has the skills to be one of the great ones !!!!! I hope Rick finds a
place that appeciates him and he is happy with. Now I am a Fan of two
teams Alway's the Hawks and Rick's new team. Guess I should start saving
for my new Starter Jacket, Hats and bumper stickers.

Good Luck Rick and thank you for three years.

I have liked Rick Mirer since he was back at Notre Dame, and I have seen
what he is capable of. I beleive that Seattle may not be the place for
Rick tojumpstart his career. I've been his fan ever since he started with
Seahawks and I'm hoping for his sake that he gets traded at the end of this
season to a team that puts some faith in him and believes in his talents
like I do. I live in Buffalo, so I don't get to see many games, but my
friend has a dish and from what I see, Rick is not lacking talent but
confidednce. I congradulate him on the way he has played these past
couple games despite the fact that he knows he is going to be traded next
season Good luck Rick next season and remember, Jim Kelly is getting
old and we'll need a new quarterback soon.

Heard that the Bears are looking at Rick. Would love to see it happen.
Would be nice to have a little pass protection to see what Rick can
really do,
Good luck Rick, it will come.

I love this guy. I've been a fan since his days at Notre Dame, but
unfortunately, since I live in Michigan and have to put up with the Lions
I don't get to see him very often anymore. I was fortunate enough to
have my boyfriend take me to see the Seattle-Detroit game in November
...tough loss, the Seahawks definately deserved to win. Rick was the
turning point! He did great. I was so glad to see him play. I think
he needs to be behind a line that can give him the confidence he needs to
develop that great arm he has. Hey, and if all else fails, there is a
coaching job open in Pontiac!!!Oh, yeah, and we'd be more than happy to
give away Mitchell's starting QB title too!

Please don't forget Rick's fan in Japan!!!!!! I am Rick's #1 fan in Japan
since his rookie year of the NFL. In Japan I can watch only one or two
Seahwaks games on TV. I think if Rick will go to 49ers I can watch more
his games in Japan. Because 49ers is most populer team in Japan. Like the
other his fan, I think he'll be back to main street of the NFL next
season on the other team. I wish it could be 49ers. Rick is the only
one guy "another Montana",not Aikman and Bledsoe. Rick I believe you.
Thank You for reading my poor English.
I am also famous Rick's collector guy in Japan. I think I have almost of
his cards. I have my NFL trading cards collector club named The
Sideline's web-site. This is still only support Japanese but in near
future I'll make English page. Thank you

I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH RICK AND HAVE SEEN HIM PLAY FOOTBALL SINCE 6TH
GRADE AT WATERFORD.. I HAVE BEEN A BIG FAN OF RICK FOR A REAL LONG TIME
I HAVE EVERY NOTRE DAME GAME THAT HE HAS PLAYED IN ON TAPE, AND MOST OF
HIS CARDS AND MAGAZINES THAT HE HAS BEEN ON.. I AM ALSO A BIG ND
FOOTBALL FAN SO IT WAS HARD TO SEE HIM GO OUT WEST AND SRUGGLE, I CANT
WAIT TO SEE HIM OUT OF SEATTLE WHERE HE HAS BEEN TREATED UNFAIRLY.
I HOPE TO SEE RICK AT CHICAGO, INDY, OR EVEN SAN FRANSICO. HE IS
STILLONE OF THE BEST QB'S IN THE LEAGUE AND ALL HE NEEDS IS A CHANCE AND A
TEAM THAT CARES FOR HIM..
BEST OF LUCK WHERE EVER YOU GO RICK, AND JUST KNOW THAT EVERY BODY BACK
