Stockton: The College Years
John Houston Stockton born is Spokane ,WA in march 28,1962.
He wasn't a superstar in his high school basketball team and decided to go to his hometown college -
Gonzaga from the West Coast Conference.
He improved every year at Gonzaga, starting from 3.1 points per game in his freshman year to 20.9 PPG as
a senior. He was also an All-American in his final year.
Stockton was also the perfect example for a student-athlete, as he finished his senior year at college
with 3.4 GPA (grade point average) showing that he is not only one of the smartest players on the court
but off him as well.
