Fremont Babe Ruth Bambinos is located in Fremont California. We are a Cal Ripken Division of Babe Ruth Baseball affiliated league. Our primary interest is in providing the Fremont - Newark - Union City - Hayward youth with a great place to learn to play the worlds greatest game.
Baseball!!
As a volunteer organization all of our support comes from family and friends of the players. There are no paid positions in the league, all our participants are volunteers, that includes our Board of Directors, Managers and Coaches.
We have 4 divisions of baseball for players ages 5-12.
The T-Ball Division (ages 5-6-7) has 10 teams with an average of 14 players per team. The T-ball Division plays all their games in the fields behind Holy Spirit Church.
The Rookies Division (ages 8-9) has 10 teams with an average of 14 players per team. The Rookie Division splits its games between Holy Spirit and Warwick Elementary
The Minor Division (age 10-11-12) has 6 teams with an average of 15 players per team. The Minor Division plays all of their games at Warwick Elementary
The Major Division (ages 11-12) has 5 teams with an average of 12 players per team. The Major Division is a competitive division that splits its games between Cabrillo Elementary School, Holy Spirit, and various other locations.

Our 2000 season has ended and we are beginning our new millinium season. In Feb 2001 we will have another excellent baseball clinic put on by Doyle baseball. We expect approximately 50 players and 90 coaches to attend this two day affair. All the comments from last 2 years have been very favorable. Therefore, we expect the same type of response this year.
Our equipment supplier for this year is Fontanetti's Athletic located in San Jose, CA.
The majority of our uniforms were delivered in January and we were very happy with his support.
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2001 SEASON WILL START SOON FOR T-BALL, ROOKIES, MINORS AND MAJORS. SEE THE EVENTS PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION!
We have not started real baseball yet but the work goes on . Uniforms and equipment are being inventoried and ordered, plans for next year are being formulated. Practices for some of the Majors teams are underway at various fields around the Tri-cities area and we expect the 2001 Opening Day to be a great success.
A member from each of our Majors team will participate in raising the flag as the National Anthem is played. Our flag ceremony from 1998 is show here.

As you can see we have some board members positions that are vacant this year. Take a minute; Can YOU fill a board position? Call the league and get involved.
We finished the new scorekeepers booth at Holy Spirit last year for the Northern California State tourniment. The tourniment was a great success.
But what have you done for me lately Work never stops at FBRB. We continue to great support from our parents, and that is what we need to succeed. Help us make FBRB the best league in the Bay area.
